What makes a Women’s Specialty Program?
Women's Specialty Services are intended to treat women who have a substance use disorder as other high risk needs. Women seeking treatment who fall into the more urgent need category are given priority treatment. What qualifies someone as a priority:
· Intravenous Drug Users
· Pregnant and Parenting Women are a Priority for Admission to treatment services
· Women who are involved in Children’s Protective Service (CPS) due to substance dependence
