Q: Why do you enjoy working with women or in the recovery community?

A: I enjoy working with women in recovery because you get to literally watch them come back to life! You get to see it; the moment they figure out who they want to be now and what they want out of life going forward - it's so awesome to watch that spark light up again. These are some of the strongest women I have ever met, and I learn from them as much as they learn from me.

Q: What do you bring to Our Hope?

A: I think I bring an open and accepting vibe to Our Hope... and possibly a bit of whimsical weird-girl wonder.

Q: What is one fun fact about you?

A: A fun fact about me - I am always staring at the ground when I walk because I am always looking for cool rocks. I often come home with a few in my pocket, wherever I go.

Q: Anything else you’d like to add?

A: Working in this community has taken me down a healing path that I never saw coming. I spent most of my adult life avoiding anything to do with AA or NA because I grew up watching my Mother battle addiction. Now here I am, loving where I am at and what I am doing, every single day.
