Women's Specialty Services
Our Hope offers a safe and dignified place for mothers, where they can stay united with their baby,
welcome visits from their children, participate in parenting classes, and receive parenting resources
that will help guide them into the future. We prioritize getting pregnant women and parenting mothers
into our program due to the urgency and the direct impact it has on their children.
Unique Opportunities for Mothers
-
Pregnant Women Accepted – Pregnant women are accepted in both our Withdrawal Management Program for detox and our Long-Term Residential program. Treatment during pregnancy improves birth outcomes and the overall health and wellbeing of both mom and baby. While not all detox services are equipped to serve pregnant women, our experienced detox team is able to provide safe, supportive treatment throughout pregnancy.
-
Babies Alongside Mothers – We understand how vital it is for mothers and infants to remain together during the first year of a child's life. To decrease barriers to treatment, we allow mothers to bring their infants alongside them during their stay. Many women have entered our programs while pregnant, gone to the hospital to have their baby, and then returned — both mom and baby — to finish treatment. We have bassinets, cribs, and car seats available, though mothers are always welcome to bring their own.
-
Child Visitations – Visitations can be set up with family and/or CPS to allow mothers to see their minor children throughout their time in treatment. Both virtual and onsite visits can be arranged.
-
Parenting Classes– Navigating parenthood can be difficult, especially during recovery. Our Hope guides mothers through parenting classes and safe sleep training to support them in building a healthy home for their children.
We see the ripple effect that healing one mother has on her family — and the impact that has on the entire community.
