Q: Why do you enjoy working with women or in the recovery community?

A: There are four main reasons I enjoy working with women in the recovery community.

My favorite part is seeing them break the cycle of addiction. Many women don’t know another way to live. I remind the women: You never have to feel this way again. Your children, family, grandchildren may never remember you being active in addiction.

Teaching: we do the little things right provides us a better chance at staying clean and sober. Doing the Next Right Thing is so important. Everything on our schedule has a purpose. I explain this to the women, so they understand how structure helps us stay in Recovery.

I love seeing the women flourish on their Graduation Day! Stronger, practicing healthy habits and being clean and sober when they Graduate.

I enjoy being part of an entire Team working together to help these women and their families. Hearing from Alumni that take the time to call and share their success stories always makes my day!

Q: What do you bring to Our Hope?

A: Passion, energy, compassion, and experience in Recovery. I try to teach our clients and lead by example: You can have Fun in Recovery!

Q: What is one fun fact about you?

A: I enjoy paddle boarding. I’m working on diving off while out in the water.

Q: Anything else you’d like to add?

A: I Rock wearing the Red, White & Blue!
